As a first-time author with no previous publishing experience, it can be daunting to write, publish, and sell your first book successfully. This is especially true when your author journey begins with zero industry knowledge and without an established fan base as mine did.
Along my journey, I received the advice of many successful independent authors and publishers that had traveled the road before me. I’m grateful for their generosity, which contributed to the success of my first leadership book, Supportive Accountability.
Of course, there were other factors at play, but having solid information was definitely a plus.
I now pay it forward by sharing vital information with aspiring authors.
With this goal in mind, I presented several tips, tools, and strategies for first-time authors at the 2019 North San Diego Latino Book & Family Festival.
Saturday, September 28, 2019
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mira Costa College
